One of the teenage dreams in this generation is seeing, or just having a glance of the celebrities they admire. Aside from local and Hollywood celebrities, Korean icons have undeniably captured the interest of young Filipinos. K-pop fanatics often call their admired Korean celebrity performers “Bias “or “Biases”.
Avid fans of the famous K-pop boy group, Big Bang, seemed to have gotten their wish granted by the good heavens when the said boy group’s concert in the Philippines was confirmed a few weeks ago. According to YG Entertainment, the concert would fall on the 30th this July at the Mall of Asia Arena. A few months would be worth the wait to see the men of every K-pop fanatic’s dreams – G-dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P., Daesung and Seungri, perform before their eyes.
The five men have popularized the songs “Haru-Haru”, “Blue”, “Fantastic Baby” and many others. Although these songs are written and sung in a different language, the songs still won the hearts of their listeners, and the genre has influenced the style of the modern Filipino music.
