People behind Facebook says it will notify the users whose passwords were stored in a readable text. Unfortunately, Facebook has reportedly exposing some of the users’ password which is considered as a privacy lapse. Recently, a security news site reported that the company stored Facebook passwords of the user accounts in plain text that can be accessed or searched by thousands of Facebook employees.
With regards to the issue, Facebook has done an investigation if one of their employees accessed any of the data or not. As a result, none of the said employees has found. In connection to that, the president of engineering, security and privacy of Facebook concluded that Facebook already fixed the issues and he assured to all especially to the users that none of the data has been accessed by anyone.
