Everyone is different and unique so with the Filipinos. However, if there is one trait that is very common to most Filipinos, that is being a service- oriented person. The Filipino’s service goes with flying colors here and abroad. Now, Japan could be land of the milk and honey which opens the door to Filipino housekeepers where they can earn up to P66, 000 doing stay out work each month. Japan Filipino housekeepers will also receive the standard benefits.
It was reported by GMA Network that an agreement has been made between President Benigno Aquino and Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during a bilateral meeting at the sideline of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leader’s summit last November 18-19, 2015 held in Pasay City. If the details will have been finalized, the Japanese government would allow Filipinos to apply as Japan Filipino Housekeepers.
Japan will need more household service workers since they are aiming to have economic zones by the end of the year. They are anticipating that numerous Japanese families will be needing more help from the household chores stated in interview with the GMA Network from Yasuhisa Kawamura, spokesman of Japan Prime Minister. For sure, Japan Filipino Housekeepers will be doing their best to serve their clients. It is because Filipino workers have been patronized by many foreigners since Filipino workers are greatly committed to their job. In fact, Overseas Filipinos Workers are chosen by many employers because of their commitment and dedication since they have loved their jobs.
Atty. Jeriel Domingo, deputy administrator of Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), stated that interested applicants as Japan Filipino housekeepers will not need educational requirements. Instead, they only need to undergo six months training with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and to learn to speak Japanese. Opportunity like this gives hope to Filipinos who want to work abroad. Furthermore, it gives them an assurance that there are still hope in getting out of the poverty line.
Now, let’s hope and pray for the smooth implementation of this agreement so that we can really prove that there is return of investment from the APEC Conference that was held last week in our country.
