This pair of shoes only signifies that Marikina City is the home of genuine shoemakers who have been devoting their lives just to produce high quality yet affordable local shoes. So, we need to patronize our own products because as years have passed by we have been buying the brands of imported products which are not really genuine products and which are not good to boost our economy. Indeed, we buy the brands not the products because the products have been endorsed by the famous celebrity. Furthermore, how can we help in the livelihood of our local shoemakers?
